Garlic Butter Lamb Chops

Ingredients
8 lamb loin chops or rib chops  Â
1 tsp kosher salt                                             Â
4 cloves garlic   Â
¼ c fresh herb leaves, such as parsley, mint, or oreganoÂ
1 stick [8 Tbsp ] unsalted butter                              Â
Preparation
Season chops with salt. Set aside at room temperature for 5 minutes. Chop finely 4 cloves of garlic and fresh herb leaves. Set aside.
Melt the butter in a 12 inch skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling, but not yet brown. Add chops and sear until browned and a temperature of 145˚ for medium doneness. Flip halfway through (a total of 8-12 minutes)
Add garlic and ¼ tsp of pepper to the butter and cook for 1 minute more. Remove from the heat and garnish with herbs.
